Has anyone found a good reliable solution for protective solutions compatible with Gear VR and by this I mean the following...
1) Protect reliably, either case and screen protector or flip case or other?
Trying to avoid scratches and general drops. A lanyard option is probably a good one..
2) Compatible with note 8 VR and new adapter if anyone has it yet? I.e a case that comes on and off easily and if not flip case does the new adapter work with Whitestone Dome screen protector? I've heard issues with the VR adapter popping up the glass protector. No idea what new one will be like. Wondering if a dremel drill is still required!
3) Ideally it'd also be nice to retain some of the beauty of the Note 9 with some level of transparency.
Ideally a flip case with a decent lip would be a winner and might not need a screen protector. My main worry on open cases is micro scratches or worse from being in pocket or moving around in car cup holder, etc.
The problem with flips cases is dropping it whilst in use thus front is often lacking protection. A lanyard again might be the saviour even if its a little douchy.
Its fair to say I've gone through a few phone screens with drops or scratches and £1k+ for a note 9 or c£300+ for a screen repair means not damaging this one is high on the priority list.
