Just pointing this out. I highly recommend the defender series cases here:
DROID Razr Cases

I didn't even plan on using a case, but the DEFENDER is so thin. Every other phone I have had the defender was entirely too big. The Droid Razr with its size, allows them to make a much smaller case I guess. It is amazing.

The Commuter series looks to be thinner and keep the phone thin. That Defender looks to add thickness and make it bulky. If I get an otterbox, I think I'd get the Commuter.

I just bought the Otterbox commuter case and love it. Slides in and out of your pocket with ease and is not bulky at all.

Did they have the Otterbox's at your Verizon store? Mine didnt have any...I had to settle for the silicone cover and am just leaving it in my coat pocket for now.

Really want the defender with the belt clip.

Yes. The girl brought out the Defender case at first. Asked for the Commuter, she went in the back and brought it out. Seems perfect to me. Slim with good grip. The Defender is a good case too. It adds alot of bulk though.

Thanks. Called another store and they had 2 Defenders left, so she held one for me and I got in the car and went to get it. Sure, it's a little bulkier, but since I need the belt clip, I really had no choice.

I'm happy with it.

Jeff

Tried two stores and no commuter cases.

We got both the Commuter and the Defender in at my job... I tried them both on my Razr and was a bit disappointed.

The Defender is well built and tough as nails to get open, as well as being rather bulky. And to top it off, the silicone part of the Defender is a major lint/dust collector (especially if you're taking it in and out of your pocket).

As for the Commuter, yet again a well built case, but then again it was a little too bulky for my liking.

Personally, I like the glossy gel case that I picked up Verizon. It's durable (not like the Otter Boxes), and thin enough to keep the form of the Razr intact. Also it's smooth surface makes the transition in and out of your pants pockets allot easier. Also there's no issues with lint or dust sticking to them.

This of course is just my personal assessment.

I bought a bundle pack that cost me 50 dollars and it came with 3 screen protectors a car charger and a holster case.. The case has this cool kickstand to it. And it slides in and out of the belt clip pretty good. And in and out of pocket.

I think I noticed this at Amazon today. Looked kinda nice. Do you find it of good quality? Is that a case/back that attaches to the phone directly? Does it add a lot of bulk?

Thanks,
AJ

thats it right there. And ill say it makes it as thick as the droid x. Maybe a half millimeter thicker. Except for the top hump. Which is a millimeter thinner.

I don't even see these on Cruzerlite's website for the Droid Razr or on Amazon's website.

I've got the same case on my Razr and in fact have been using the glossy Gel case on every cell phone I've had. I've never had a problem with it, protected all my cell phones from drops, does not collect dust and easy sliding in and our of my pocket.

Wow, the defender seems to de-razr the phone. But it looks tough
With the Defender on the Razr is as bulky as the Thunderbolt, and loses all of its sleek form.
So yes, I'm still loving my slim gel case... although the ones offered by Amazon that were posted previously look great as well.
