I am planning on using it with a wireless charger. I bought one for the Note 7 and (if I remember correctly) it worked fine. I just didn't get to use it long before I had to turn my Note 7 back in.

Does it stay closed? I've had problems in the past with folio cases, which I really like. that didn't stay closed especially if the phone fell. But that is a nice looking case and not unreasonable price.

It doesn't stay closed. At least the one for the Note 7 didn't. I ordered the one for the Note 8, but I don't yet have it.

Yeah, nothing in the listing about a magnet or anything that would close it.

Spigen is releasing a folio case as well. It's not listed on the Spigen site, but Amazon has it up for pre-order for release in a few weeks.

For folio style cases, a magnetic closure is a must for me, esp. since you can use the magnetic hold to keep the cover secured when you have the phone open.

Love Tech21's offering, but IMO they took a big step back with the S8/+ version and the upcoming Note8 release by replacing the magnetic hold with a plastic one.

I start every new phone with a Ringke case I have always had great luck with them. Minimal bulk good protection and clear to let the design of the phone shine through.



I also preordered the clear view Samsung case as like them and it was easy to ad to my Note 8 order from Samsung. I also know Peel is working on a case and I love their iPhone case so I will end up one of those as well.

Also I’m going to give the Ringke screen protector a try. They say they are case friendly so we will see. I want one of those Whitestone Dome Screen protectors of they make them for the Note 8.

I've been using the Spigen wallet case for my Note 5 for 2 years. It's held up well. Just ordered one for my Note 8.

The Story site has a couple beauties but no way I am paying $100 for a case. The Whitstone Dome screen protector sounds good, there is one, or at least I saw someone say there was -
sorry to be so vague, I am a bit flooded with info on cases and screen protectors-- but the price I saw mentioned was 50.00. If you got it and want those, go for it. I don't have it.

I like ringke. I got a couple of cases from them. I like the minimalistic cases
