Best cases for Google Pixel 2

I got a clear Trianium TPU case for my Pixel 2. I will keep trolling for a Caseology Vault or Ringke Onyx for this phone. Those two are my favorite cases in Black for any device.

Anybody that recieved the Ringke Bevel, are the striations on the inside or outside?

Those striations are on the outside of the case. I've seen pictures that show lint getting stuck between each of those striations.

Thanks. I ended up buying one. I love the look, but want to attach a kickstand/ring and need a flat surface. I'll use this one for going out.

Diztronic's Pixel 2 XL case is now available at Amazon.

I love their cases. Just nice, simple matte (i.e. grippy) TPU cases with minimal branding (they put their logo on the side, i.e., bumper, instead of the back).

EDIT: their twitter feed says amazon is being slow about making it searchable, so need to use the direct link for the moment. additional colors (blue, teal) coming later (today?)

I was just coming in to say how I've found my end game, the Spigen Liquid Crystal... You bet me to it!

I love this case, everything fits perfectly, and it's nice and sleek.
Yep, I'm loving mine. I also have a new hybrid coming sometime soon.

Need to find a thin but protective case for my 2 XL. I've tried the Caseology Vault and Parallax and the Spigen Neo-Hybrid. All make our very thin-edged phone fairly bulky.

From what I've read, the NMNL, Layer, Peel cases are not very protective.

I think the issue is the robust cases do not follow the curved face of the screen. They extend high enough to protect the screen, yes. But they do so at a perpendicular and add like 50% or more to the bulk of the edge

I ordered the Ringke Fusion which followed the back curve well so that the phone didn't feel much thicker at all. Hoping the XL version does the same for the screen side.

In fact, this might explain why some of the cases get "graded down" on Amazon for being hard to remove. If they "curl" at all around the edge to the face the phone would have to be really locked in by the lip........

Considering the Spigen Thin-Fit for my next try.
I think I know what you mean. My sister's Incipio case for her Galaxy s8+ is perfect in that regard.

I have the Spigen Thin Fit case and I really like the rubberized feel that makes it less slippery but looks great. The cutouts are accurate and don't cover the power and volume buttons.

I ordered a Spigem thin fit for another phone and didn't like it. It looked good but I didn't like that it was hard plastic and the lip on the front was sharp and sign in to my hands.

You mention rubberised feel....does this mean the case has changed? I like rubber cases for grip. Does it still have the sharp lip? If the case is now better to hold I may consider it

Got the Caseology Legion Series for my Pixel 2 XL. Good grip and no Android Pay problems.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a hard time finding a case I like. In the past I've had a variety of cases for my phones; for my new Pixel 2 I ordered the Spigen Rugged Armor case but I hate the way it feels on the back (the logo) and the edges of the phone. I'm very "tactile sensitive" and today I received the Cimo TPU case; it's a lot better but I wish the edges were more rounded. Argh.

Received my UAG case today and I'm really disappointed in it. It feels GREAT in the hands like their other cases but it has a couple glaring issues.

One, the sides are too high for a slightly curved screen and make edge swiping difficult.

Two, the buttons are nowhere near as tactile as their previous cases. I have 3 other cases from them sitting in front of me, and the 2 xl case is just about flush with the sides of the case. The others are much more raised. The power button on the case is so oversized that pressing the edge of the case button doesn't even register on the actual power button.

I contacted their customer support and they said they passed my email along to their design team, but they weren't sure if the recommended changes would be made at this time. Hopefully I'll hear back that they fixed it and I'll exchange.

I had purchased my Pixel 2 on a whim Saturday from Best Buy and did not have a case. Best Buy only had case available for XL not 5 ". I went to Verizon and found OtterBox Symmetry. Overall pleased. A bit bulkier than I like but I feel phone is well protected. Only complaint is that buttons for power and volume a bit hard to push, as well as squeezing for Google assistant.

I also ordered the Spigen Rugged Armor case which I'll get Wednesday. I'll see which I prefer once I receive it and return the other.

I have the rugged armor case and I have to say I really like it. It fits really well. I usually have cases with covered buttons but this one actually doesn't screw up the feel of the power and volume buttons. There is still a positive click feel to them, rather than the smushy mess of some cases.

It feels protected, but without a lot of bulk. And there's A nice lip on the front to keep the screen off flat surfaces if laid face down.

My only complaint, and it's minor, is that the edges on the chamfered sides feel a little sharp. Now, they have softened a bit in the few days I've used it... And if I really felt the need, it's nothing a few minutes and a Dremel won't fix.

It also doesn't interfere with the screen protector I put on. I've all but abandoned hope of finding a good glass one, so I picked up an IQShield wet install plastic and I have to say that, for a plastic one, I kind of like it. But the two fit pretty much perfectly with each other that I think I'll rock since 'stic for a bit.
