Best cases for Google Pixel 2

This one is similar to many others found on Amazon and eBay, including Spigen.

I think it looks similar to when people wrap their furniture in clear plastic: cheap and gross.

To each their own. I love the thin clear covers. They show off the phone design. Closest thing to being naked.

Took advantage of the the promo yesterday ($7.90 for the Parallax by Caseology w/ a 4' USB C cable) to order one in blue and one in black. I will be putting the black trim on the blue case.......I thing it'll look better, and not too expensive.

Unfortunately, they've ended the promo......

Hoping the bumper on the black one is gunmetal like the one for the Pixel XL. I want to order to put on my left over gray case.

Ok I am new to these forums overall with posting but what gives with being blocked saying I am posting spam. I wrote a post on XDA with pictures and all and I don't want to rewrite but wanted to share it so others could see the parallax case but it keeps blocking me. Even tried writing a new post and just copying and pasting the picture links but no go.

I have that one set to arrive tomorrow. I'm not in love with it at first look but it was in stock and would arrive before I get my 2 XL. The other two I ordered will likely be closer to the end of the month.

Looks to be a 2-piece case. Don't know if you can leave the back off and just have the bumper

Thanks, I think those have the plastic back permanently on.

Yup only one is from Rhinoshield, eBay use to have a ton of those type of bumper cases. But for some reason they dont have em anymore.

I just got a Parallax Series XL 2 case for $11. I bit clunkier that I will end up with but I need a case to slap on the phone while I wait for some actual reviews of some ultra lightweight cases to come out.

My two favourite cases are the Spigen Thin Fit and the Nillkin Frosted Shield - both are thin and grippy. The Nillkin has a textured back too. It looks like the Spigen is out on 31 October and no sign of the Nillkin - I emailed them but no reply yet. I bought a cheap clear plastic case to use as soon as the phone comes out of the box just so I have something. My Nexus 5 never saw a case - I loved the cheap plastic black to that phone, especially the red one I had. It didn't feel precious - but recent phones need protecting so much more.

I love Nillkin cases, but I fear the Frosted Shield may be dying. I had to order a replacement for an iPhone 7 Plus Frosted Shield from a distributor in China, because Nillkin wasn't selling them anymore. I have a Frosted Shield for my current Pixel XL and was really hoping there would be one for the 2 XL.

It's probably not for headphone jack but for the microphone that is at the top of the phone.

Yeah I agree. I just received my Incipio NGP Pure Clear case for my Pixel 2. It has a hole on the top too.
