Best cases for Samsung Galaxy S10

The only problem I had with past Next cases was that the back scratched very easy. Does this one also show scratches easy?

Mine was already scratched when i got it. But lol nevermind at least it's dust proof. And i have a sticker on my phone to distract my eyes.

Nimbus9 Phantom 2 in clear is my new favorite case at the moment. Case is the same material as the Tech 21 Evo Check but with way better port protection. This case has the absolute BEST buttons so far on any S10 Plus case I've tried. Fantastic case that I highly recommend. Case Porn Pics below. :p

Gear4 Platoon case for the S10 Plus. I would say the best heavy duty case so far. Better than the Otterbox Defender and Pelican Shield. This case has the thickest/softest D30 lining that I have ever felt in a case. I believe the 20 drop rating.
It's a strange case as the back and sides sit in a hard D30 lined shell and the sides/face of the phone are covered with a semi soft rubber bumper that holds the phone in the case. The best front glass protection of any S10 case so far. Here are a few pictures.
Last pics are it side by side with the Pelican Shield case.

I like Ringke case! I got it on eBay $12

That case looks great on the phone, honestly. However, I saw a review on Amazon that said the back plate of the case slides off too easily. Do you find that to be the case? Did you buy direct from Gear4, or did you get it off Amazon?

I saw that review on Amazon and that guy is completely crazy. The rubber bumper does not slide or come off of the corners easy at all. I do have a worry that maybe this rubber bumper could become stretched/worn out over an extended period of time with heavy use but do not see any problem at the moment. I purchased this case from Cases.com as I did not see it on Amazon when I ordered it. Cases.com takes 2-3 days to ship after you order but is a solid company with great customer service.

This case also has the best front glass protection of any case so far as it's raised on all 4 sides. Makes swiping the edge panel a little difficult but not impossible.

Here's a side view of this case.

Mous case in today. Case is stiff as a board and fits the phone real snug. Quite slippery and the buttons absolutely SUCK. The buttons are flush with the side of the case and very hard to find and operate. The sides are also very low and offer little to no side glass protection. Otherwise seems like the case is made with nice high quality materials.

Here are some pics.

Ordered Pitaka Aramid for my S10P. Its tough they said...

Ive had enough of LifeProof Next. No wait, not saying its a bad case but its making the phone too darn big upwards and sidewards. Had a hard time mounting my phone in the car... 9cm wide...

So I ordered this case off of cases.com, and I was told it would ship out tomorrow. I used a coupon code (the word "love") and got 25% off my order, so it came out to $47.99. I hope it was a wise purchase. Do you find that the case adds a lot of weight to the phone? It's a thick case, of course, but I haven't decided whether to go with the Flamingo Pink or Ceramic Black, and I know that the Ceramics are heavier than the glass. My main concern is that, unlike the silicone sleeve on the Defender Pro I have, that the Platoon case will come apart from the phone in the event of a particularly bad drop; especially if its rubber isn't as rigid as the Defender Pro.

I like this case. Where did you buy this case? Cases.com or direct from Nimbus 9?

It seems pretty expensive for a clear case but willing if it's got above average protection.

I purchased direct from Nimbus9life.com which is their retail sales site.

I don't think the Platoon will come apart from a bad drop. It does add a little weight to the phone. I will weight it later and post the weight here. I change cases all the time and only used this case for a day or two with no problems. I have the Ceramic Black phone myself and it looks fantastic in this case. Wish I knew of that code when I ordered.

Platoon case weights 71.5 grams not counting the holster/clip.

So after trying LifeProof Next, Spigen Tough Armor, Spigen Rugged Armor, RhinoShield SolidSuit, Ringke Fusion X and UAG Monarch. I would say for me personally the best is still UAG Monarch...

I keep going back to the Monarch myself and I have around 15-20 different cases.

Have you tried the Nimbus9 Phantom 2? It's one fine case.
