What happened with your Gear4 Platoon?

Someone on Reddit claimed that their Gear4 Platoon, while it was great, was being returned because the frame slides off so easily, it leaves the screen vulnerable. They were shocked because the rest of the case was fantastic.

The one I have the frame does not slide off that easy. Now, I have hardly used the case at all but the times I did there were no problems.

SUPCASE Unicorn Beetle Sport Series on my ceramic black S10 plus. Not much front glass protection but the case is extra grippy and gummy. It's like a big sticky gummy bear.

I've used MAGPUL cases on my S8, S9 and I hope they make them for the S10
They're super rugged when used with a good screen protector. Dropped my phones numerous times and no damage. One fell 30 feet from the bleachers at the High School stadium onto the concrete. The case has a small scratch.

Which one doesn't slide all over the table? They both look as if theres no traction like you get on the Speck Presidio Grip. I also hope you're not paying full price.

Pelican Shield. I am looking at it from both a protective and aesthetic perspective with a greater emphasis on protection as it is the primary reason for having a case on a glass smartphone.

If the feel in the hand is the same, definitely the Pelican Shield.

Mous Limitless 2.0 VS Rhinoshield SolidSuit. The Mous case feels way more premium and you feel like you actually got your money's worth in quality. The Solidsuit feels like a cheap $5.00 case. The Solidsuit has better grip and buttons that are usable. Looks and quality the Mous wins, usability the Solidsuit wins. Would I trust dropping my phone in the Solidsuit, NO. Since you have carbon and leather version i would like to know is leather version slippery as carbon.
I have carbon mouse case and it is awful. Slipery and plastic feeling. It seems like a glossy sticker outside.
I am thinking of exchanging for leather.

They are pretty much the same. The leather does not show the fingerprints like the carbon but it's just as slippery.
