Best Cases for the Samsung Galaxy S8

I think Spigen cases are overrated. Ive seen a lot of broke screens with them.

If you are into the looks and not just extra protection like me I think that I found the perfect cover for me, the OEM Clear protective cover, wow, the look and in hand feeling is incredible. I'm always looking for just Clear TPU cases but after having this same cover for the S7 edge I knew that i needed this on the S8+.

Now it's even better because now it comes with the color of your phone and man, the orchid grey one is stunning. pictures don't make it justice and they look even purple on the pictures but in person is a beautiful blueish color, there haven't been a single person that have seen it and haven't told me how great it looks, and being so thin basically you feel you are just holding your phone.

Im somebody that struggles to leave a case on my device as i just always find an issue with them and wind up going naked with the device! With the S8 i ordered a custom made case from carved.com and i have to say (whilst it was expensive) they are great cases! They feel great, look great/ unique and dont add too much bulk either! Probably the best case i have ever owned! The only downside is that they seem to be made for style as oppose to protection so not sure how they will fare with drops etc but should do ok! The buttons also are flat so when the case is on you cant really tell where the volume controls/ power key is but you do get used to it! Other then that the case feels solid and has a nice feel to it plus the sides are textured so gives good grip!!

This one is available on Amazon for about $10-15. It's not too bulky, looks good, and has great corner protection.

I went with the pelican adventurer case clear with black edge. I bought it on the pelican site for $39.99 (Amazon for $25) because it came with a curved glass screen protector free with case purchase. I figured it would work perfect for the phone but I was wrong. I did NOT like it at all.

But I love my case. With lifetime warranty.

In the absence of a decent tempered glass screen protector I'm going to get myself a folio/wallet case. I've seen on a previous reply that someone has recommended the ipulse but I'd like it to be able to keep itself closed rather than be able to swing over and I'd like to be able to slide it into a pocket without the clasp catching. I'm in the UK can't get all the US cases that I've seen suggested before.

What say you all? Has anyone got a decent case that they'd recommend? I love my UAG plasma but if I can't protect the screen sufficiently I can't use it for the time being. (1year old likes to throw things regardless of how often sentry to stop him).

I did get mine. It is pretty good. Feels good in the hand but also does feel a little loose from time to time on the left side but holds pretty good. I also have the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector and it fits good on there as well as a DBrand Black Dragon skin. Overall I like it but am in the middle of trying other cases as well. Hope that helps.

5 cases later I settled for a leather case with card slots. I ended up using the outer slot with a rectangle magnet for the air vent holder. I can still use the case with the wireless charger. It wont be centered but slightly centered and I'm golden. The look and feel is great and the edges are not covered unlike one of the cases I tried.

It's slim and it fits a holster. I know holsters may not be that popular but its either that or in my front shirt pocket in the busy downtown city and risk of getting it stolen.

I've got 2: The Samsung battery backpack and the Olixar X-Duo. It might be the shape of the phone but I'm yet to find a case I really like the look of. Still, I am happy with both.
