Best glass screen protector

Agree...although you will need to be an absolute scientist to get that thing on perfect. Your phone has to be level, you've got to get the liquid in just the right place, and you better clean and sticker clean the crap out of that screen before placing, or you're going to be out $30.

That and their warranty replacement is still going to cost you $20 and you've got to prove WITH PICTURES that you need a new screen. So if you need a new screen because your first attempt failed, take a picture of the failed screen in the garbage can...seriously.

Other than that, White stone all the way.

Agree with MoreDef. This is why I'm hesitant to buy one. We basically have only 1 try to get it right? Can someone install these professionally?

Whitestone is the best all my Samsung phones has had them , And on my Note10 Plus since preordered the phone has it on with no issues at all.

I have one on my S20, but it took me two tries. The first time, there wasn't enough glue. Good thing I bought the 2pac when it was on sale. Then I applied for a warranty replacement, and that's when I had to jump through hoops. AND it's still $20 for each replacement.

Long story short, it's worth it in the sense that there aren't many other choices for full screen adhesive screen protectors. I probably paid just as much for a 2-pack of Whitestone when compared to the amount of cheaper screen protectors. Full adhesive won't let dust and water underneath like every other screen protector inevitably does. Either spend a lot for the 2 pack and never worry about it popping off, getting dusty and linty, or letting water in, or buy cheap ones every month because they collect dust and randomly pop off. Either way, you'll spend money if you want to protect your investment.

Final note. Mrwhostheboss had a great tutorial for applying screen protectors that involved running a hot shower, then applying in bathroom afterwards. It helps get all the dust particles out of the air and potentially ruining your application.

I have gotten away from glass protectors. If I spend $50 on the white stone dome and I drop my phone and crack the screen im out $50 and my screen is cracked. so why spend the $50 on glass protector in the first place. hopefully someone can change my mind on this.

I can definitely see what you are saying. Since I've purchased device protection for my phone this time 'round, I'm not *as* concerned about something happening to my S10.

So far knock on wood I dropped my phone couple of times and dome saved the screen , I don't use insurance , and sane reason I use a case . Plus in my work environment is not to friendly with phones and I like them to look as new as possible as I try keep them for awhile.

with device protection AT&T will replace my device for the price of a glass screen protector of for free. so why buy glass screen protectors? there's no need in my opinion. I just sick with Samsung factory protector.

Screen protectors only work with protective cases, in my experience. I've never dropped my phone and cracked both the screen protector and the screen. Part of that might be because I've also rocked a case. I hate bulky cases and always opt for slim, but it does provide protection that works with the screen protector to ensure that no part of the glass sandwich makes contact with the floor when dropped. I tried going naked before because having a ba in industrial design, I really wanted to appreciate the phone as it was meant to be used...then I got a tiny chip in the corner from literally dropping it into my car cupholder.

Stupid Neil Degrasse Tyson. It's all his fault.

I haven't tried these high end glass screen protectors, but I just use a TPU film protector. With my Note 8, I realized that I really wanted to protect from scratches, rather than the screen cracking. The TPU film does that fantastically, and I have great touch response. Also prefer it for writing with the s-pen.

I do like glass to a degree yet tough getting the right fit on some devices, and sometimes the final outcome appears out-of-place for the lack of better words. For the past couple of years my go-to is the Skinomi brand opting for the MatteSkin TPU film, reasonably price imo, greatly minimizes fingerprints, less glare, and the wet-install sure enhances the install process almost guaranteeing a perfect fit. My goal also is to minimize scratches if anything and always adorn devices in a case of some sort no matter what.

Upon rereading your post, I think I'm in the same boat as you. I'm wanting to protect against scratches than cracks from dropping.

I'm not bothered with screen protectors anymore but if I had to pick one, it probably would be the Whitestone Dome because of the full adhesive

Which is better? Zagg or WhiteStone?

You need a good case foremost. It should protect from screen faceplants on a flat surface with raised bevels top/bottom minimum.
Sand will scratch all gorilla glasses. Any rock or hard enough object that hits the screen in a drop can scratch or break it.
Plastic film offer good scratch protection and limited impact.
I had a horrible experience with Whitestone;[mod redacted] send the wrong screen in the right box. Can't put an Apple screen on a Note 10+ Wrong tray as well.
Thanks, offshore junk company.
Wasn't impressed with their mess and they were a complete pain to deal with. Be warned.

No happy with Zag either. 2 defective screens where the scoring on the middle of the backing wasn't deep enough. Couldn't get it to tear away leaving me to try to place the whole floppy mess down free hand.
Be warned.
