Best guess at Black Friday deals on Note 9?

I just got a notification from my Target app that the sneak peak of their Black Friday deal is up. Here is what we can expect from Target. I am praying Best Buy matches this deal as I want the Midnight Black Note 9. Target only has the Ocean blue variant.

That's a great deal, but I'd rather get a discount on the phone. A gift card doesn't do me any good.

You mean to tell me there is nothing at Target that you need? For me, I am going to use that $300 on a Galaxy Watch. Coupled with my Red Card, the watch will only be $50. Too easy of a choice for me.

I would rather have the gift card because when you get $300 off instead of a $300 gift card, that $300 is spread over 24 months. So that’s $12.50 less a month over 24 months. If the Note 10 is just as unreal as everyone is making the upcoming S10 to be and you sell your Note 9 to get it, you wouldn’t have actually gotten the full $300.

Can you show me specifically where it says this? Every time I have seen this special where’s it’s $250 off like Best Buy is running right now, that is over 24 and it is not a down payment.

You are correct. The Best Buy deal is a monthly credit, unless I missed something in the fine print. The Costco and Target deals are gift cards, which I prefer, in case I decide to pay it off before 24 months.

I believe this means the discount will be spread over 24 months, meaning if you sell it in 12 months, you only get half of the discount. As long as you'll use the gift card, that seems like the best plan.

Samsung is still offering $600.00 off with your trade-in 'til Nov. 3rd (yeah, I know - that's tomorrow... I'm still procrastinating) on TV and when you go to the "Shop Samsung" App, you can select "Unlocked" or any of the Big Four Vendors...

If you do the monthly payment reduction, and sell the phone after only 12 months, you will only have saved approx $125 off the retail price.

Samsung.com has a pretty good deal right now. Buy an S9/Note 9 and get a DEX adapter, charger stand, cover, and AKG headphones ($300 value).
