I am currently running basBAMF GingerRemix 2.1 with nerozehl-dream-2.0.3-beta_SENSE kernel...

Has any one tried any of these kernels on this list [GB Kernel] leanKernel: minimalistic kernel (3.4.0GBtest 6/29/11, v3.1.6cm7 6/17/11) - xda-developers
And if so, what are you opinions on battery life or anything else... I was thinking about IMOS test 7 kernel, but just want some feed back... also, can I use speedtweek.sh for all of these kernels?

ALSO, I see that the dream kernel, has call recording BUT have yet to find out how to use it... just wondering if any one else noticed! thanks

ALSO, I am unable to run "SU" when using terminal emulater? I want to adjust my voltage setting but am unable to, could I be becuase of the kernel I am using?

I'm running this v3.4.0test since late last night. Haven't really tested the battery because I've been on charger all day. Everything is smooth though, but it was on the stock kernel too.. When I get home tonight I'll keep it off charge and see how it does.

I don't know about all the other stuff either. I've been meaning to check out that speedweek stuff.

Leankernel is the way to go for gb sense roms. I havent been messing with speedtweak settings, but if i was i would go with battery saver. I just set my clock speeds in the toolkit.

pretty good battery life to report, however, with the stock battery, getting more than 14 hrs with heavy usage would be crazy. i usually charge over nite for sure, and often charge around 6-8pm with 30 percent left to be able to get thru the night (if i'm going out or something).

So. I was using the test7 kernel and everything was going great, I just flashed the Lean Kernel and settings of 245-1.022 smartass and for some reason my phone seriously seems to be lagging behind. I am going to tinker around with some more settings but I may have to go back to the test 7 kernel. just a thought.... thanks for the feedback..

ALSO, is anyone having issues with rootexplorer? I am able to use it one time and then when I try to open it again , i have to run fix permissions with the toolkit. I seem to be having SU issues for some reason. I am able to use SuperManager app with no problems too..

WORD TO THE WISE..... I tried running ZIPALIGN app under the tool box and seriously F'd my phone up... I had to do a battery pull and restore my most recent nandroid... oh well, you live and learn :)

edit... IMADUMASS... I had the freg setting backwards :( duh... anyway... I am giving the new update for CM a shot right now :)

No issues with root explorer.

So my test kind of sucked because I was in super heavy usage mode, watching TV on my phone and just on it all night. I got about 6 hours when I hit 50%. I swear my batter never changes no matter what I do lol. I mean it goes faster if I use it more, but I don't know if anything has ever really increased battery life a noticeable amount.

Had my first reboot in weeks today... :D:'(
