Do you know what the best Android touch screen app is for typing speed?

I've seen the world record holder (106 wpm; way slower than my computer typing speed) using fleksy, but he wasn't allowed to use autocomplete, so there might be other apps that allows one to type faster. In your opinion, what's the best Android app for speed typing?

Google Speech to Text if you speak clearly. I use SwiftKey but I am not trying to speed type.

Yes, I know. And it's a great suggestion. I am experimenting with it, although right now I am looking for the winning keyboard for speed typing.

I think it really boils down to the individual user.

SwiftKey for me because I've been used to it for a long time although the capitalization of random words frustrates me every now and then...

Defiantly Minuum!

Try « Minuum ». It's my favourite and its accuracy is amazing. It's also only one row of letters. The accuracy of its auto-correct coupled with its small but convenient size allow you to type at amazing speeds.

I have barely begun testing, but here are the first results. I have been using a QWERTY keyboard before, so I am not used to typing on any of these keyboards.

To measure how well they perform, I use Firefox and go to 10fastfingers. The score is the best of my attempts. The parenthesis in keystrokes is how many characters were correct and mistyped.

HTC Sense Input score
31 WPM. Three attempts.
Keystrokes: 171 (157 | 14)

Swiftkey score
WPM 38. One attempt.
Keystrokes: 249 (189 | 60)

Swype score
WPM 35
Keystrokes 261 (173 | 88)

QWERTY on Desire Z. Over 60 wpm. No errors. One attempt.

No one seems to have mentioned Touch Pal so I guess I will. I switched from SwiftKey to Touch Pal as SwiftKey lagged a lot for me. Turns out it was a problem with the swipe gesture. After turning off Swipe, it worked fine. However, I prefer Touch Pal's customizations over SwiftKey's.

Lol sometimes I swear I'm the only one that uses TouchPal. Thank you for mentioning it. I love the copy paste feature on TouchPal and find the swype feature MUCH more accurate

i use Minuum too and i love it.
At the beginning it wasnt easy but if you give it a try and stick to it you'll get fast
