I have the Case Mate pop case its white & grey and looks nice on my grey note. The kick stand will work both ways, It is in stock at my local ATT store.

Yes sir, just found this case today and I love it. Feels great. Sits in portrait and landscape. And the angle, when in landscape, is adjustable because of the rubber tip at the end. If I had a spare camera, I would post pics of it. But it's definitely a nice case. I also had to find this at an AT&T store because all of the stores in my area (Bestbuy ,Corporate, Authorized Dealers, Sprint, TMobile, etc...) are limited on cases.

This is what I have:
Silicone with hard shell and holster combo in Blue
and I like it quite a bit. Both the case and the holster have kickstands.

I have the pink version of this case. It looks badass out in public even though I'm male.

Here is one with a holster. I don't use holster so I don't get it.

They were selling a case in the Verizon store store that does horizontal and vertical. $30 though.

I got mine at verizon for $18. It is definitely sturdy and does both horizontal and vertical. That beung said, I will probably take it back and get the seido or the otterbox. Its hard plastic and the grip is not very comfortable.

magnet would cause issue?

I read this on XDA. A couple of people reported that the S-pen would become very feint when it traveled across the magnet area from the case. I was so ready to get this case because I had one on my S3.

I ordered one and I found it made the phone far too bulky for me.

What are you using now? And for protection I don't think it can be lean and project like it should. Either go naked and be careful or project it. I always go naked but with Motorola. ..I don't trust the build of Samsung as much so im taking precaution

I'm currently using the Samsung case.

But, I have ordered the one that was recommended earlier in this thread because I like the kickstand.

The way I see it, cases for phones come in three styles. There are the super thin ones that offer scratch resistance, but almost no drop protection. Typically, the front of these cases are level with the screen so they give no protection to the screen at all. Then there are the medium protection ones like the one I am using now. They completely cover the sides/top/bottom of the phone with a thin layer or rubber and rise above the screen a little bit. They gives a bit of drop protection and protect the screen a little from fall. Then there are the really bulky cases. I don't like them because they make the phone too large, and because they compromise the pocket-ability of the phone too much. They do provide a lot more protection.

The Samsung case I am using now is squarely in the middle category. Doesn't make the phone too much bigger, but does (I think) provide a reasonable amount of protection. I am hopeing the the one I am waiting for will be only a bit bigger but provide the same protection plus the kickstand.

Is that the Seidio Surface case or the Active case? I have the active case and I have zero issues with the magnet and the pen.

I grabbed the seidio active case. I'm enjoying it.

I don't have any experience with their kickstand cases, but Amzer also makes one for the Galaxy Note 2.
Protection looks good and the price is definitely good ($9.95). And they have 5 different colors to choose from.

Is there a magnet on this?

I read the tracking status wrong. I thought it said estimated arrival is Dec 6, but it actually said Dec 6 - Dec 11. I didn't get it today, but it should arrive within the next several days.
