Best Large-size Phone out there

After doing RESEARCH on line, in carrier stores, ect. my vote would be the Galaxy Note3 and not just because I have a black one....SMILE

I am currently using an S 3. Have an upgrade in September. Hoping the S4 is out by then.

I'm guessing you mean Note 4. It'll probably be out in October/November

I changed my answer...One+1 is the best large phone now.

OnePlus One review: a $300 smartphone has never looked so good

Better than the note 3 in every way, except maybe the stylus. Bonus: it costs half as much. It costs the same retail as the note 3 does on contract.

No user-replaceable battery though (unlike the Note 3). That's a show stopper! :(

Yep.. That was one thing that made me sad. Still a good phone but it made me sad.

Doesn't matter. My Note 2 has the same size battery, but still gives me the OPTION of swapping out for a fully charged spare (whenever I choose) to get back to a full charge within minutes. :)
The tradeoff is that you have to deal with Touchwiz...and Samsung's whims when it comes to updates. Also lower CPU, RAM, a crappier camera, and a worse display. (And you get to pay twice as much for the privilege).

I've had lots of phones with removable batteries. But I hardly ever swapped them. Mostly I just upgraded to extended batteries. But if a phone already has a large battery to begin with, there is a lot less incentive to want a replaceable battery IMO.

That being said, Removable batteries are always preferable to me, all else being equal.

The embedded battery is 3100mAh...that is pretty damn big.

It is in theory, but these big phones with big screens are battery sucker. The Note 3 battery is 3200 mAh. And I can't even get through a day without having to charge it

It's so nice having the ability to swap out batteries.. Now I'm rocking the Anker 6400 mAh extended battery and loving it. Only need to charge it at night before bed now.

I always like Samsubg Galaxy Grand, which is large in size also contains almost all features of S2 and S3 with all apps support.

I say Note 3 as well Samsung can't be beat in the Phablet area they definitely have the best devices for it.

Android Central reviewed it today...they said they could go through a full day of heavy use and have 25% left over.

I make it through a full day of use (~15 hours), with all of my accounts syncing and "screen on" time over three hours per day and rarely hit the 25 percent mark when I go to plug it in when I go to sleep. That's plenty good in my book

The Note 3 is polluted with touchwiz...that might be what is eating up all that battery power.
