I used GoLauncher for the longest time, but it made my phone run screwy. I switched to Nova Prime, and I've never looked back.

What launcher do you use and why? How does it differ from the rest?
Right now I use Apex and while I love the themes and customization options, I'm not sure if it's the best one out there. I've tried GO as well as others, and there are way too many ads and junk.
Does anyone know if Nova Launcher drains your battery?
You know, I'm not sure if its because I haven't dabbled much with launchers or my lack of experience (8 mos with Android), but when I install Nova, it imports my apps but it only shows 2 pages, removes all my folders and I'm unable to replace the main clock/weather widget which I like.. I have installed and removed it a few times with the same results. When I install Go Launcher or Apex, I have NO clue how to set them up..I've grown accustomed to Touch Wiz now and have a nice wallpaper, folders and seems OK..What the heck am I doing wrong?
You're not doing anything wrong. Nova REPLACES the Touchwiz launcher when you run it. In other words, all the shortcuts, home screens, and widgets you set up in Touchwiz will not transfer over to Nova. If you run Nova, you have to rebuild the phone the way you want it. The one thing you can't do with Nova is use the stock weather widget...which is a bummer because it is really nice.
