Not exactly "memory hungry graphic intense", but I like Scintilla on my N4, It provides some interest, but it's not so much as to be distracting, and I can still find the icons.

And, on my N7, I like Earth HD, which has both free and paid editions, but, oddly, I think the free edition looks better. But I bought the paid one, just to support the dev.

I just finished writing a live wallpaper called Blue Marble HD for the upcoming Earth Day.
It's an OpenGL wallpaper and I tried to set this wallpaper apart from other wallpapers by making it as photorealistic as possible.

For Nexus 4 users, you can crank the quality setting all the way up to Ultra. Galaxy S3 can run it in Ultra but it's best kept at High.

Like others have listed, not exactly Memory hungry (but it can be as much as you want I suppose), but I downloaded RAYS OF LIGHT a couple years ago and keep coming back to it time and time again. Haven't found anything better yet IMO, run mine with the background option "off", think it looks better.

I like the Nexus Live revamped wallapaper too! No matter how many wallpapers I keep changing..I always comeback to use it! It also allows the user to choose a customer background which is cool.
