Best managing a large - ish music library offline

I have about 4000 songs on my computer. I bought the 32G nexus so that I can store it all easily on my phone.

1) What's the best way to transfer from computer to phone. (Preferably but not necessarily automatically transferring new computer music to the phone.)

2) What's the best way to browse on the phone? The Google play square visuals take a lot of screen space and it's hard to see the whole library.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I normally just copy the files into a music folder via USB then you can just fire up any music player to view and play them.

If you are looking for sync functionality check out doubletwist.

And if you want to rename or delete etc after they're on the phone you can do that with any file manager like ES or Astro. :)

proplayer allows browsing your music library by folder. just plug phone and pc via usb to transfer

If you don't want a 3rd party app then just drag and drop your music folder to your device. Any music player will pick it up as long as you point them to that folder as the location. And browse with any file manager app. And if your using iTunes you can sync with several apps out there. I use isyncr. Its not free but its worth it. Good luck.
