Best minimal case for Note 5

That's great what's the color you ordered? I had a black Spigen Slim Fit before and I got tired of its look as it didn't match my gold phone lol. I also think that the grip on this Nillkin case is better.

I ordered the black one. I saw a video someone made on youtube and the close up shows bumps and how much better it is to grip the phone. Plus I wanted something slim that won't annoy me with added bulk.

Hey guys, the Verus High Pro Shield case is on sale right now on Amazon if anyone is interested. I ordered the blue one.

For me, the answer yes... I've been pretty consistent about my opinion in this thread, as well as in the sticky "case" thread...

But it is just that...my opinion... YMMV...

I'm using the Versus High Shield Pro and love it. It has a thin lip protecting the screen, but is very usable in my opinion.

I just got a CASEFORMERS Ultra Slim Note 5 Armor Case. It's incredibly thin while still providing basic protection. It also has a kick stand.
I had a much thicker combination case that provided excellent drop protection but also prevented wireless charging. It was too much of a chore to take the case off to charge and I just plain disliked having to plug it in.

Just ordered the Spigen Ultra Hybrid case... a hair thicker than the Liquid Crystal but offering drop protection. Anybody have this case?

I have the Ultra Hybrid. Both the black trim and all clear. I love the case. Keeps it minimal while adding sufficient protection for my taste.

So i got my case today. Loving the case so far. Came with screen protector which was nice. Also so for the price of the case you cant beat 10.99 the one thing I have noticed is the bottom that leaves the charging port and headphone jack is sharp behind the case. Something I don't like. Probably going to have to grind it down myself. No biggy as for grip best csse I've ever had. 20151122_124514.jpg20151122_124624.jpg20151122_131707.jpg20151122_131645.jpg

I had the exact same case on my Lumia 1520 a while back and while I liked the look and very small footprint it had, drop protection was non-existent and the lip that was supposed to raise above the screen did so on one side but the other side was flush. Took case off and it wasn't warped or anything, it's just how it fit.

The liquid crystal case is TPU. I've used it over a month and it hasn't yellowed. I do maintain it well.

I have the same case and have not experienced any yellowing either. With other cases, however, some rubbing alcohol seemed to do the trick when they did begin to go that route.

I'm rocking the verus case and I like it better than the phone naked.
I don't touch the screen by accident when gripping the phone, less slippery, buttons feel premium, still get to see some of the phone, and it has some protection.

Tech21

I agree, for me the Tech21 is absolutely the best case I've found for my Note 4, Galaxy S 5 and now the Note 5. Super thin, nice texture and most importantly it has superior drop protection with the D3O material.

Rhino crash guard with screen and back protectors. The bumper guard is rated for 11 foot drop. Add the thin film front and back protection and you have the true minimalist protection.
