Best minimal case for Note 5

I agree, for me the Tech21 is absolutely the best case I've found for my Note 4, Galaxy S 5 and now the Note 5. Super thin, nice texture and most importantly it has superior drop protection with the D3O material.

That's the direction I went after trying several cases in-store.

Sounds like 'thin' cases aren't really what you're looking for. The best thinish case I've used was the Ringke Fusion, but I don't like it due to the fact my sweaty palms gets the back of the case grimmie (grimey sp?)

So I opted for a super thin case on my iPhone. Loved it so much I got it for the Note 5 as well. It's the Calicase Slim.

When my white carbon fiber skin gets in from dbrand, I think I'll be pretty happy with the look. But here's what it looks like now.

Keep in mind the case is on 3 out of 4 of the pictures lol. (The rotation is an issue with Tapatalk so please excuse the orientation)

The Tech21 offers reasonable "thinness" while providing superior protection, I haven't dropped my Note 5 yet but my Galaxy S 5 survived 2 hard drops from 5 feet onto concrete over a 1 year period. With the glass back on the Note 5 I would be afraid of anything more minimalist or thinner. And I love the feel of the Note 5 wrapped in the Tech21.

I got the Rhino Shield Bundle
Bumper Guard and Protective shields for front and back. Rated to survive an 11 foot drop.

Any drop test on the actual Note 5 being protected by this bumper? all I found is iphones drop tests?

With out a doubt the Diztrinic is THE case you want, crazy thin, actually adds protection some how, had a nice may finish and barely changes the feel or size of phone.

I loved the tech 21 on my note 3 but wanted a kickstand so went with a $10 obliq clear case from amazon. Great case but kind of a pain to install for those who take their cases on and off frequently. Definitely worth $10 and very thin but if kickstand not an issue than Tech 21 gets my vote

I really like tech21,but for my Note 5 I went with the incipio octane case and it's fantastic. It's thin, has a good feel to it and there multiple colors along with clear I believe for the back and sides. Mine is neon blue for the bumper and a frosted back which feels great and not plasticity at all which I hate in some tpu cases. I like switching cases a lot and this is the longest I have ever had a case on a phone.

Spent more time than I care to admit looking for the perfect case. You're link was to the one I've been looking for. Thanks!
