The otter box defender is a strong case if you have a physical job or are rough on your stuff, like me. Only issue with it is the hole for the head phone jack is on the right when the actual jack is on the left. Luckily you can just lift up the cover.

What? The audio jack is in the middle - at least on mine, two others in my house, and every picture I've ever seen of a Moto X.

I believe it wasn't done for the headphone jack the case is a rugged case I have one and its designed to save the phone from being abused. That little hole that you all seem to think is the headphone jack hole is actually for the mic thats located there. So the sound when spoken into the phone is always clear and reduces the background noise.

I use an Otterbox Defender. I wanted a Commuter but Best Buy was out of them. They definitely slimmed down the Defender's. Protection is top notch. Works great.

My black Qmadix arrived today.Coming from a tpu, the back is a little slippery but the sides are grippy enough to where dropping it shouldn't be an issue.

I ended up getting this gel case and it seems really nice:

It was only $4.32, is 100% clear and is a pretty thin gel. All of the cutouts are in the correct place and there is a hole for the M logo.

Right on! Now that I look at it thats exactly it. It's also why the hole is an oval instead of a circle. I did wonder if otter box just got it that wrong, but I guess I did. It's a great case either way. Just got to remember to keep that spot dusted now.
