Best music app that works well with note 9

Would I have to play all music through this app or can I control since output from other apps, say Google Play Music?
How would I get Google Play Music to play through this app?
There is not even an explination on the Play Store's app page.

It doesnt play through Google music. It is it's own player with its own controls.

The only reason I thought about emailing the developer is because I haven't heard of this issue. Maybe something to do with the update?
I think it has to do with their own update. They just recently made some changes and I was having this issue before pie.

I've tried 5 different players and none of them are giving me what I want. There's either something wrong with my ears or my headsets. Lol I'll stick with Samsung player for now. My album art ocd will just have to deal. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

What is its source for music files?

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking here? My source for music files are my Mp3's and flac files on my SDcard.

3D surround isnt as user friendly as some of the other players like PowerAmp. It does not go out and find Album art like PowerAmp does but the sound is great. If I get any distortion on anything I usually decrease the preamp setting and that typically clears my issues up. Unless of course the sound file created was over driven.

I usually get my audio files from megaboon.com or just purchase the CD from Amazon and convert it myself with EAC.

Well, you answered my question. Thanks!

Now Samsung player is stopping abruptly on each song. They just don't want my music listening to be great.lol

A former Samsung Music user, I tested well over a half dozen music/jukebox apps. for sound clarity and quality, quick loading and performance with streaming to my cars or other Bluetooth devices. By far, for me at least, the “double Twist music” app. works the best. I was skeptical at first, trying the free version, but when it continued to perform well after weeks, I converted to the “bought” version.
