*Best Note 8 Screen Protector Glass or Film?

I installed the Whitestone Dome on my sister's Note 8 and it has worked so well. It was quick to install ... I put a youtube video and followed it step by step. It barely looks like theres a protector on! I bought one for myself too Should be coming in the mail tomorrow!

I have zero sensitivity problems with S pen and the Whitestone Dome screen protector.

I have zero sensitivity issues with my zagg and my spen. It works great together for me.

my zagg shield it fits and no air pockets. The plastic screen overlay helped me position it 100%

Same here. No issues with the spen or sensitivity. There is more glare and fingerprints though.

I completely screwed up my Whitestone Dome install and I'm usually very good at things like that. Had to bin it. That said I couldn't bear the smell of the glue! I'm now using a wet install film and I'm happy with it. Was painful to bin a $45 product though. My bad.

There was a single bubble in the glue drop for starters and then I slipped putting the glass in the guides and it dropped early. Totally my fault. I was doing it with kids running around and I should've waited for them to be in bed. Got to mention the smell of the glue again though - like the devil's armpit. I'm pissed I ruined the install and wasted my money but I'm not sure it would have been for me anyway. Someone mentioned about lint and dust collecting along the glued edge - that would have bugged me.

Beware! I purchased the InvisiShield Glass Curve and it failed within 24 hours. The issue is it requires a case that provides protection beyond the surface of the screen due to corners created by cure screen. I had a cracked screen and completely shattered screen protector within 24 hours due to phone slipping from a side pocket height of 27. The screen protector used in combination with a Granite folding folio case as sketched

Yootech wet application screen protection workd excellent. Easy installation and the price was right.

So got my white-stone, did the install in a particle free room, 100% level surface. All done looked perfect then saw the bottom edge was protruding from the phone. Unimpressed sent back to Amazon for a refund and ordered a second one, looked amazing untill I saw that.

I just got the Zym Eurpmask today and it took less than 5 minutes to install. It comes with an install kit, I saw someone else in one of these threads recommended it. SPen works normally, can't tell its even on, using an Encased slim grip case and no push up issues.

really? the Zagg film looked like crap on my ohnoe...they tried 5 different installs at best buy and all had the ****ty orange peel effect....REFUNDED!

I've had my Note8 since early January 2018 when it was sent as a replacement for my Note4 that died. Personally, I think the whole edge idea sucks. I have a Spigen case with a kickstand and I added glass screen protectors. Referring to the plural of the word protector was intentional because I am now on my THIRD one. All three have cracked or chipped after minor drops onto hard surfaces in roughly the same area: at the edge just above the power button. The obvious reason is because the edge is not protected because it protrudes above the case. While I am happy that the screen protectors cracked and not the screen, I'm not at all impressed with the device, because of the edge gimmick. I just received another delivery of glass protectors which I assume will be mounted, cracked and replaced within 60 days. After that I may switch to another substance. Sure, I shouldn't drop the phone, but that happens, though it didn't happen when I dropped my Note4. Last, I was going to replace my case with one with a built in screen protector such as on an Otter Box, but I found that because of the edge feature, such cases don't exist. So, I really dislike the phone and not just because of the edge, but not enough to switch to Apple.

For all those that got or are considering the Zagg Curve Elite I just got one for my 2nd Note 8. It's a fine, albeit expensive, protector.

It was $50+$10 installation at my nearby Zagg store. Ouch.

As far as appearance and performance it's no better than the Otao I put on my other 8. ...yet it cost 6x as much. Again, the Otao is just as good as the Zagg (IME), in regards to feel, touch sensitivity, and appearance, yet the installation is easier than the Zagg (No working the bubbles out).

They're both great protectors but one is grossly overpriced and not even readily available online. I've wasted $50 on worse I suppose.
