Best phone in the 4.7" screensize or less

I am inclined to agree with NothingIsTrue. Once you start considering the One, S4 mini, or say the S3, the bezels are so large you lose compactness as a feature.

The problem is keeping it relatively small. The HTC One is a 4.7" screen like the X, but it's huge compared to it. The One and G2 are probably the only non-Moto devices worth buying on Verizon and the One is being refreshed with a 5" screen in the next month or two and the G2 is a 5.2" screen. I think there is an S4 mini, but compared to the Moto X it's absolutely a garbage device... nowhere near worth the money.
