I have never bought an unlocked phone or really a phone that wasn't from a carrier. I want to get an LG G4 but do no want to get an unlocked phone. Are the ones from the link below safe? They seem like a really good price.

I can't post a link until I have 10 post so the above refers to an amazon page.

Depending on the carrier you are with your best bet may be to buy from a site like Swappa.com. You can get a mint G4 for less than $400. I got my Verizon G4 for $350, but it did't come with the box or anything. It's in perfect condition and runs very smooth.

Is having a verizon phone annoying though? I really wanted an unlocked phone.

I got the one linked from amazon. Verizon says:

The device Id shows, not found. The phone could still be tide to a cell carrier account or lost/stolen
When we get a device not found notification that means we can not activate it, The network wont accept it on my end.

So know I don't know what to do

If you bought the phone new it should not be saying that trying to activate it on Verizon. It sounds like you bought a used phone that someone reported lost or stolen. There is nothing verizon can do for you as they won't activate a phone reported lost or stolen. You need to go back to the seller which was most likely a marketplace place seller on amazon and not Amazon directy as Amazon wouldn't sell a phone that way. Its always a good idea to check the MEI number with Verizon before you buy so this doesn't happen. If the seller doesn't respond then file an A-Z claim with Amazon. You have 30 days to do this. Mary
