I just called up the Best Buy closest to my office, politely informed them that Verizon had issued the press release confirming availability tomorrow, and the jerk still denied it. Guess they're not getting my sale.

All 3 places I called (two verizon stores and one best buy store) wouldn't tell me how many they had. The best buy guy simply said they had a lot of them and one of the verizon stores said I wouldn't have any trouble getting one. We'll see tomorrow morning.

Was planning on buying from Amazon to get discounted price, but not going to happen now. I currently have unlimited data and $5 text plan. It's easy to select the grandfathered data plan, but there is no option to choose the $5 text plan. Called Amazon and they have no way to do this (you have to choose either 0 or $10 option). So, I am back to researching the next cheapest option. I have $50 upgrade discount so will probably just order from Verizon online...

I was able to call Verizon Wireless and get them to place order for tomorrow morning. Ship tomorrow and get Friday! I got free extended battery and case. It was $299, no discount.

The order will not go through until tomorrow.

I live and work in a smaller town, Stopped by Radio shack on the way home and they said they have 2 nexus in stock. I cant get my $30 NE2 credit if I buy from Radio shack correct?

Any other downsides of buying at radio shack?>

Called the Best Buy in my area. I was told they could not hold one for me (I have a full day of patient's tomorrow) but that they have 12 so it shouldn't be a problem. I then asked if I can just buy one online and do in store pick up, and he said that should work. I'll find out in the morning if I can do in store pick up or not with it. Hopefully I'll have a new toy to play with over the lunch hour.

Just go to their website and keep refreshing or wait until 12 eastern or 12 pacific. No one really knows so that question wont be answered until it shows up on their website. I doubt anyone knows the price as well when you cant even see the phone on their website.
