Best Practice for Backups

Is there a guide or what's everyone's best practices for backing up my S25U so I can wipe it and try to restore it just to get an app to work (ridicules I know). I have over 600GB of stuff on it. I'm also trying to be better about unloading crap I don't use/need anymore.

The best place to back up is Samsung Smart Switch PC and can restore anytime and back up more than multiple ones .

I figured that might be the best way. unfortunately, it says it's going to take over 8hr to make the backup. smh.

8hrs? How many gigs are being backed up?

As others have said Smart Switch is the go to for Samsung phones. You can even back up to a USB -C drive with SS and set the phone on a wireless charger while it backs up.
But really you should offload all that data to a cloud service for convivence and data protection. What would happen if your phone was stolen or dropped in water or just died.....
