Best ROM for Optimus S?

Currently have Kraven's Cyanogenmod 7.2 ROM on the phone, and I do like it so far, but I was just curious about what others say.

Got some weird bugs like when I lose signal, I get "international data roaming" in the middle of Texas (more specifically west of Fort Worth)

I much prefer cm7 to the other options available. Yes it has its quirks, but most roms do one way or another and i love all the options and customization. To me it is more about figuring which issues you can tolerate. I liked gRom on zvh, but the inherent wierdness from the baseband killed it for me and that is why i rolled back to zvd and kravens cm7 (most if not all now fixed with drews gingerkernal 8). I heard loads of good reviews of yourMomRom again for zvh.

Good luck. Btw for the international roaming issues, this is just a cyanogen bug, and you will not be charged for it any different then normal data roaming. There is an option to enable in settings so you will not have to worry.

Cyanogenmod7.2 all the way! I heard about zvh issues also but drew and team hydro are amazing and I'm sure zvh bugs will be a thing of the past very soon.

Yeah, I learned firsthand of the 2.3.3 ZVH baseband problems when Sprint pushed the update. First was the sudden touchscreen oversensitivity and slightly less than normal battery life (typically I can go 14 hours on a charge, it was more like 10 hours with ZVH). Then a month later, the phone decided to start rebooting by itself. It was then I looked for a way to revert to 2.2.2 ZVD, found the sprint forums with the ZVD rom, flashed that. Then later looked for alternative ways to get Android 2.3.x and found this. I like Cyanogenmod actually, phone is more stable and faster with it than stock.

overall i think yourmom is the best. it has all the features i look for in a rom and runs flawless but my all time favorites were either legoROM or ScottPilgrim

i also use thekraven's cm7, as it has features no other rom has (usb tethering, long-press status bar to adjust brightness, hide status bar, etc.)
i think you can fix the international roaming by going to settings > wireless & networks > mobile networks and checking "national data roaming".
