Best root and Rom's Available

I just picked up a galaxy tab and it will be my first time rooting and doing custom roms. What roms are available for it so far? Only thing i could find is Overcome. Also, is there a page or link that someone knows that gives step by step instructions on how to do all this? I have a Version version of the 7" tab.

Theres a step by step video on rooting the Verizon tab in this forum, several posts down. As for ROMs, I'd like to know too, haven't seen much in the way of VZWGT7in custom ROMs

I tried z4root but it doesn't work, and kies doesn't recognize the vzw tab due to some recent update. Any other ways to root?
