See here is the packaging. It's stated on the packaging that it's very thin.

I never said inches lol. I just assumed you guys new I wasn't speaking in inches lol. I didn't get it mixed up but I never clarified 0.2mm rather I just assumed you all knew that's what I meant lol. No way I would use a 2 inch thick screen protector lol

I think he got confused cause you said ".2 in thickness". He probably read the " in" as inches.

Ah sorry, I must have misread it. My apologies!

Lol. No problem at all. This one is a much thinner tempered glass but it's still offers protection too.
My concern is that it offers less protection than it's thicker counterparts. Although... You have to deal with halo. Hard call

It should technically still protect your screen from shattering instead of just the screen protector shattering only. It's not so thin that it offers less protection as it's still very sturdy. The reason why I know I'd because in the past when one time I dropped the screen protector before I stalling it so I had to take and load it up wish dishwashing soap and rinse it off in the sink. When I was doing that it allowed me to actually feel how sturdy it was as it would still bend to a certain degree without breaking and the thickness is not as thin as it would lead you to believe but it is thinner than than the what is it I think 0.33 thickness of a typical screen protector. So the protection for your real screen against a drop is still there if that was what you were worried about. It's plenty still very sturdy enough to protect your screen if you were to drop your phone. It's not paper thin or anything but it is a little thinner than the average protector but due to it being a little thinner I believe this is why it leaves no halo what so ever. I've never dropped my phone on a hard surface before to prove what I'm saying about how it should protect just fine but handling it like I did that time allowed me to feel just how sturdy it still was even though just a little thinner. I strongly believe it's the best screen protector you can get for the Honor 8 as it gives you full cooverage still with no halo. All the others I've tried and I've tried a lot of them certainly left a visible halo after applying the protector. I only tried this one bc it specifically said it was thinner so I thought to myself at that moment that I wonder if that will help with the huge halo left by all the other ones I tried and I was right. I got lucky and found it but I don't think you have anything to worry about in regard to it protecting your real screen if you were to drop it. It's still plenty thick enough to be sturdy so you'll be fine. I highly recommend it. It's by far and away the best screen protector you can get for the honor 8. I do know that for sure. Ive used it for a long time now and I swear by it.

Smaller protection is better than no protection. As long as this can prevent my phones screen from cracking then I'll be happy with this

It might not protect the screen though and the screen might crack due to it being thinner. that's the thing. It's a risk. Granted one I am willing to take

I honestly think you guys are worried your screen will still crack over nothing though. It gives the same exact protection that all the others do. What I'm saying is I don't believe how thick a screen protector is actually is the reason your real screen doesn't crack on a drop. Any real screen with any of the other thicker protectors is still going to crack under the right drop conditions. The screen protector I believe absorbs the impact therefore taking the brunt of the drop hence it cracking instead of the real screen cracking. How thick it is I personally don't believe makes a difference on whether or not your real screen shatters. As long as you have protection of some sort will be enough to save your real screen from a drop and just the opposite. If you drop it just right and hard enough no screen protector is going to save your real screen. If that's the case we all need back tempered glass protectors too due to the back being totally glass. Between the shock absorbtion from your case and the thick or thin tempered glass should in fact be enough to save your real screen.
