Yeah I have about 6 or 7 cases for my honor 8. Maybe even 8. Half of them are Red and the rest a mixture of different colors. All of them are thin low profile cases. Nothing with bulk. Ive gotten to where I prefer not to use a case bc I like the feel of slim the phone feels without one. So if I use a case it's got to be very slim and form fitting. I also only use the TPU rubber type cases. The only two cases that aren't are my two honor made clear cases that are the thinnest with the least protection which is what I use the most. It protects all four corners but has no impact protection like my slim rubber cases do. I just like searching for new cases that look good to me and that I know are thin and I'll typically order them but they have to meet my criteria before I would even consider buying one. I'm quite picky when it comes to my phones. The color of the phone is big time important to me as I've sold phones that I liked before bc it wasn't the color I really wanted. Also as I've learned Android I've become picky about which brand phones that I will consider using in terms of interface and smoothness. That's why I have always come back to the honor 8 this being my third time owning the phone. I know now that EMUI is my favorite Android interface to use which honestly I don't even really consider EMUI to even be Android bc when you compare it to all other Android phones it's nothing even remotely like Android at all. Especially EMUI 4.1 which im thinking about rolling back to as I liked it the best bc it was the most different than Android honor has offered yet. Each new update of theirs brings more and more of stock Android into play which I'm not in any way a fan of Android. I prefer Apple IOS ten fold over Android and thus another reason why I like EMUI as in a way it has some similarities to IOS but near as much as lots of people claim that it does. It's a hybrid type software unique to it's own formation meaning there is nothing quite like it. So you really cannot compare EMUI to Android nor IOS because it's really neither of the two. It has it's own unique and different signature. That's why I believe that 4.1 could have been branded and marketed as it's own and third major software choice to Android and IOS had Huawei honor wanted to go that route but I know it would be way too expensive and time consuming to build an entire new eco system around EMUI so their only choice was to lump it in with Android and make it compatible to the Google play store. If I had to choose between Android, IOS or EMUI I would definitely choose EMUI and I do believe once Huawei honor comes to the US that EMUI will have a huge cult like following of people who prefer it over stock Android. Almost every review I see about the honor 8 the reviewer has something negative to say about EMUI but what they fail to say all of them is why. I think just bc it's big time different they automatically think it's bad bc it's not stock Android but I say to them what is so imnensley great about stock Android which is sticky and choppy when these companies bogging it down with their own skins where Huawei honor manage to place their more than very heavy skin on Android but yet it still runs as smooth as IOS with no lag and not choppy and sticky at all like most others are. They've optimized the software extremely well or they've totally done something different than the other Android skins have on all the other phones. The only phones that run as smooth as EMUI is the pure Android experience like the Nexus 6p or the what took the place of the 6p which is the pixel in which it runs as Google states like Android was intended to run in its natural form without any type of skin on it and I can tell you from owning the Nexus 6p that it ran like butter no lag no choppy or sticky but fluid just like EMUI does so Huawei Honor has definitely done something different since their skin runs butter smooth compared to all other skins out there. Look at Samsung touchwiz. That's the most laggy choppy sticky Android experience you can get but everyone seems to love them. Makes no sense to me. When you can use pure Android and get that IOS like interface or use EMUI and get it too so all these people who say EMUI needs a Nova launcher does not make any sense unless you are just a die hard stock Android fan which I'm not and I welcome change and to be different and unique standing out of the crowd instead of blending in. That's why Huawei honor will end up becoming number one once they establish themselves here in the US which is one of the most powerful markets in the world. Once they gain popularity here watch how fast they shoot up to number one in the world over taking Samsung at the top. I'm frustrated with Huawei honor right now bc they are totally neglecting the US from some awesome phones that we all would love the opportunity to buy and use. In not even sure now that they will even release another honor flagship here to replace the honor 8 nor am I convinced that they will follow through with their two year promise of updates that would and should give us Oreo now so if they don't start realizing they do have a strong customer base here and continue to leave us out then I'll for sure go back to Apple and they will loose me as a faithful supporter and customer. I hope Huawei reads my posts. If they would I'd like to think they would make a difference but I doubt they do so my post is in vain anyway lol.
