Best text messaging app?

I use the stock as well but has anyone used the slide messaging app? It's relatively new but it looks pretty cool

I've recently downloaded Line and Kakao and I like them both. I would use them more except not too many of my friends are on there. :(

I love using the stock jellybean messaging app along with a popup notifier called glowfly. I've tried many popup apps and glowfly works the best for me. Very nice dev too.

I just discovered Text By Voice.
You start it when you get in your car and you don't have to touch it again. Total hands free.

Unfortunately, Handcent Pro is the only messaging app that lets me send pictures with Sprint.

Is anybody running glowfly on the HTC one? Cannot get it to show on my lockscreen. Emailed them, they think it could be HTC have customized the lockscreens?

I like Line and Pinger.
Line has a bunch of cute icons for users, some of them are pretty funny ...
If you aren't into icons that much, you'll probably like Pinger, which you can get unlimited text.

There's many in the Play Store to choose from. I'm currently using Handcent and bounce back to the stock 4.2.2 messaging app.

The only text messaging app I use is Textra. It is smooth, simple, and has a nice UI. I switched from Go SMS Pro to Textra.
