Best Verizon Deals Today

OK, so my Sprint Note 2 died 2 days ago. Took to Sprint, they could not breath life back in to it, they could only offer a replacement phone for $75. That would be fine but all of our phones are out of contract, 4 in the family, and we are moving to Verizon. The 4G is just not good for Sprint around here.

SO purchasing today (among the dreadful last minute Christmas shopping rush!), what is the best deal considering rebates, cash back, etc?

For my family the best deal was the 2-phone, 10GB/mo Edge plan for $110/mo plus monthly charge for each phone. Ends up being about $150/mo in total for the Note4 and the Galaxy Mini (or other phone to be selected by my wife).

No rebates or deals on the Edge plan, that I am aware of. But you might want to check alternate sources like Best Buy and Costco. Before committing at either location, though, make sure the Verizon company store (make sure it's a company store you visit and not an "authorized reseller") can't beat their deal. In my own case I did a lot better at Verizon than I did at Best Buy, but YMMV.

Very true; unfortunately not applicable to the Edge plans. But it's worth checking out anyway. Nonetheless, the non-Edge data plans get very expensive very quickly IME.

I've heard something about Verizon offering a deal for those that switch. That would be awesome to get free phones on Christmas Eve! Hope that works out for you.

The Note 4 is $149 right now so it's Def worth the switch plus 150 credit per line. The 150 per line is stretched over 3 months on your bill.

Thanks everyone! So I went to a corporate store and started the process, only doing what I had to to get my phone which died. I got the Note 4 on the Edge program, and will ad 3 iPhones (I try to talk them off the ledge with Apple, but no can do) on Edge on Friday and order them to deliver to the house since no one has any iPhones around here. All 4 lines come with the $150 off. I also got for free an Ellipsis 7 tablet (wasn't looking for one but they offered it to customers who bought in the store they said and it was free, so I thought what the heck!). Then on top of that I will get 19% off my monthly data ($100 for 15 GB) with my corporate discount. I am all set now.

Make sure you keep an eye on their loyalty offers. I walked into a store for an accessory on iPhone release weekend and ended up getting 5 extra gigs of data free for as long as I keep the plan. So now I have 15GB for $78/month after my 22% business discount.

Awesome Shawn! My 15 GB was a promo at $100, normally $130 I think, and I'll be paying $81 for mine with the 19% discount.

Where do you get a 22% discount? That's about the highest I have heard of.

You are correct. $130 is the normal 15GB cost.

My 22% is through CVS Caremark Corporation. My wife also gets the same discount through US Steel. Definitely is the highest I have ever seen.

Go to the corporate store in your area. They may have promotions for switching. I prefer edge program and have share everything.
