Never said you were , what's a hydiot?
Thought you would get it but you're no germaphobe
Got it on mine. Really liking the full gesture controls. The Verges video showed night theme working even with Google Calendar but mine is not. I've even cleared cache and data but it's still not in dark mode.
See now that sounds stealthy and phenomenal...Look for override force dark in the developer options. It will force every app into dark mode. Funny quirk, it changes the search bar on the home screen to dark mode also, which means if you have a dark wallpaper it essentially disappears leaving the Google and Assistant symbols only. Looks kinda cool actually.
I think the new dressers are absolutely awesome. It takes a little while to get used to them but want to do it's pretty intuitive. And I posted in the Android auto session of the forum a new issue.. overall, the phone feels nappy or in faster. by the way comment everyone if you want to develop or options you can force dark mode the setting in developer options is called override dark mode.
Well, thank you thank you! Yeah, the gestures take a little time to use to, but for the most part, they are very very intuitive! As far as the dark mode it's amazing looking! And yeah, dark mode seems to improve battery life a little bit.Nice tip for those who want full on dark mode. Thanks for the Post
I tried to super unload wallpaper and the Google search widget looks cool, but I also like to look at beautiful colorful wallpapers. Do you think that the superamoled black wallpapers save a significant amount of battery though?Look for override force dark in the developer options. It will force every app into dark mode. Try using a pure white wallpaper for a day or two and you should notice the difference.Do you think that the superamoled black wallpapers save a significant amount of battery though?
So basically, using a superamoled wallpaper vs a colorful wallpaper is better for battery savings...Try using a pure white wallpaper for a day or two and you should notice the difference.
I did like the Override dark option but Facebook and Facebook Messenger don't like it and now you can't see any text cuz it makes it white but the background doesn't change to dark.Look for override force dark in the developer options. I just tried it again but still having the same issues. The main Messenger pain shows messages in all white and same with the notifications pane in FB. If I restart my device it reverts the setting. It was doing the same thing on my pixel 2 xl so I turned it off .I just turned it back on and FB comments now are visible.messenger as well
Yes, I've noticed that as well. No biggie though but the forcing dark mode really helps the interface out completely!I notice I need to re-enable dark mode every time I reboot. No biggie, worth it, love the dark
