Oh all righty thanks for the update. I thought it was just me or something on my Pixel that was causing delay.

Yeah similar to iPhone. I like how they added the back gesture to both sides and the single swipe up to get to the app drawer. Works similar to my Galaxy devices. Now they just need to add a swipe down from anywhere in the home screen to pull down notifications and it'll be perfect.

Well, it's taking forever to optimize applications on my phone so I'm just trying to be patient lol.

I thought there was going to be some new dark mode options, but I’m just seeing the usual, phone, contacts, stuff that was already dark. Anything new?

Not really, I thought they were supposed to also include the Calendar app as well but mine is not dark. I did notice they improved the dark theme on the notification tray and some settings. It's more uniform now were as previously some accents or little things here and there were still showing up in white.

You know what's interesting, is the verge.com YouTube video of Android beta 3 shows the calendar app and widget in Dark mode. .

When mine rebooted it stayed on the black screen for a long time I was able to get the stuff from the notification screen but I decided not to wait and I restarted and now it's fine

Well, my phone is still at the 3/4 marker apps optimization.

Mhmmmmmm true that. Well whatever the case is Google calendar definitely needs a dark mode, that's too white.

The gestures of feeling better already.... I had to Google to get a clearer perspective how they work. Now, I won't be as confused when I switch phones back and forth. I was constantly using Samsung gestures on my pixel.

If you choose the full gestures stay there and it shows you how to use it, just watch it in the box.
