Beta 4 arrived

okay make a little bit more sense. I'm just glad that when you're using Chromecast, or listening to music, that the always on display doesn't phase out the weather anymore. That was a bit annoying.
That's good they fixed it.

Oh yeah, totally! Gestures make more sense to me now. Like I stated in another thread. Multitasking is for the overview screen just how you hit the single square bud on the bottom right when we had the old soft key buttons and Android. Then to quickly toggle between two of your most recent applications, that's when you usually slide the bar on the bottom of the left or right. Everything is much more fluid and smoother and responsive.

Definitely, but I still think they should remove the little bar at the bottom as it serves no purpose anymore.

Oh yeah I completely agree about that but it is what it is right now. at least the gestures are smoother and make more sense in Beta 4.

Since it has been pulled, does anyone know if it's possible to get beta 3 OTA? I am on Pie and I am opted in to the beta, but no luck. I have a 3xl.

Well, if you're on pie, if you wanted to go to beta 3, I'm not so sure you are able to. It might just be Beta 4 at this point.

Seriously, beta 4 has produced my best battery results ever! Over a day and over 10 hours Screen-on-Time! Pixel 2 XL. Fabulous! Screenshot_20190610-044155.jpegScreenshot_20190610-044141.jpeg

Oh, get that? For me, like I said since I charge off USB in my car all the time even without Android Auto I don't get a true readout of my screen on time. please Tell me how did you obtain those numbers?
I really don't know. I did some podcasting and a few YouTube videos. But mainly talking in forums and reading news. Even so they are great numbers. My phone is brand new from April and it has had really good battery life since I bought it. Beta 2 had excellent numbers as well and they dropped in beta 3. I had to factory reset to get beta 4 working properly and I wonder if that has something to do with it as well. But my battery lasts all day easily.

Yeah no lie about that. Honestly though, if I weren't always charged off you was being my car like I always say, I get more accurate read out of what my normal everyday you should do. I barely use my phone for phone. I usually use it for forums, music at the gym, at my home as a remote for my Roku on my TV. That's about it.

Yeah. I even use my google home hub for more calls than my phone. I use it for media and news consumption and chat apps. And mostly for photos of my cats. It is the best camera I ever owned.user1_15491699423154275577797752207657.jpegIMG_20190529_171042_884.jpeg

I opted out of Beta 3. I'd like to go back to beta 4. Let us know if they fixed the wallpaper stretching problem.

That's fixed on my Pixel 3. I had opted out of beta 3 but opted back in to beta 4 hoping that had been fixed.
