Installed it with no hassle in 2XL. Battery usage has noticeably gone low. Will give it few days and see

My phone on beta 5 is smooth as hell. And there's commentary before, my battery life took a dive as did everyone else's but as far as the gestures in the UI, everything is now smooth come into you, nice and perfect. I even put my screen animations up at 2X just to watch the smoothness And the fluidity.

Honestly, still testing out. Just fully charged my phone so I'll test it out all day long today, and report back. Yesterday at work, My battery drained out quicker than it should have but I'll continue testing

I noticed Android Auto in beta 5 is much smoother and more responsive And it's actually is fully functional. I'm just waiting for the new revamped UI this summer!

Good news re: my pixel 2’s battery. This morning I woke up to only the usual overnight drop and not the bigger losses I was experiencing since I installed beta 5. Now 2 hours later and it looks like it’s going down at the old usual rate. I’m hoping it’s settled itself back into its old comfort zone. Hopefully the rest of you will get some relief as well.

Honestly, not really. And I redid them on battery saver mode on my phone to kick in at 45% battery versus 15% battery... At least temporarily until beta 6 is available ...

My battery life is still pretty amazing. Lasts me a whole day even with 5 hours SoT. Pixel 2 XL

My battery life is still pretty mad. My phone is on low battery warning at 33% even though using my camera I have late today but I did that on beta 4 without any battery loss issues. So in general, I don't understand what's going on. I could do the issue tracker which I should for Android Q...

yeap ... google prompted with update and it got installed.
no issues other than 1 bank app not working.

I know we've only just got Beta 5 but am I right in thinking Beta 6 will only be another few weeks away? 5 and 6 are normally close together right? Loving Beta 5 compared to 4 but battery anxiety is not for me. Having to carry around my Huawei Mate 20 Pro in my other pocket to share take some load of the 3xl.
