betas break my accelerometer

I'm running a Nexus 6p. Anyone else have this issue. I loaded beta 3 and it killed my screen rotation because the accelerometer wouldn't work. It also crashed my phone every 10 or so minutes. So I rolled back to marshmallow. The accelerometer went back to normal. When beta 4 came out I decided to try again. It seems totally stable now but still no screen rotation. I've downloaded countless apps trying to calibrate it but it isn't reading anything at all. Any ideas?

It might be apples and oranges but my Nexus 5X screen rotates. It rotated with Beta 3 and I tried with Beta 4 after reading your post and it rotates fine.I thought it didn't not long ago because the home screen doesn't rotate. But all my app screens do.

Definitely a weird thing, my 6P's accelerometer is fine on DP4

I have no problems on MM or DP3 or DP4 on my 5X - perhaps you have an app that uses the accelerometer that is not optimized for N, and that is interfering with it because it is not ready for N - just a thought.
