Better folded or unfolded when charging, sitting on table, etc?

This question is more for fold 2 owners. Did anyone leave their phone unfolded when at home, when charging, etc? I'm wondering if leaving the phone unfolded might help with the longevity of the inner screen? Or am i being too cautious and leaving it folded doesn't make a difference?

If I'm sitting watching TV and going to be using it off and on for awhile, I leave it open. Screen should be fine, but the way I look at it, why use the wearing parts when you don't need to. It's not just the screen you're using opening and closing, you're also using the hinge. I had to send my fold 2 in for a broken hinge just from normal use. My philosophy has always been why use it if you don't need to, Causing wear and tear for no reason. That's everything in my life. It annoys the crap out of me if I accidentally turn the TV off and have to turn it back on again, or start the car just to move it a few feet, I've been known to try and push the car first, lol.

I leave it open all the time while working... Only for convenience no other reason...its sometimes on the desk or stand depending...

If I'm charging overnight I do so folded because of limited space where I charge. Also if I'm using a wireless charging stand it fits better folded. I don't think it matters much though so just use it the way it works for you.
