Better sales? Wait or buy now?

That Bill credit for a new line and phone number is not saving any money unless you have a Kid that need a phone.

Phone companies are getting tough with the deals they are putting out.

I might've been able to make it work, basically giving up my old phone number for a new line, but my wife had zero interest in a new phone, and is still not thrilled with the idea of me buying a new pricey phone, even though my work justifies it. But, the happiness of a new phone doesn't outweigh the pain of an unhappy spouse... so I must wait and justify my purchase to keep everything in balance. :D

Did a factory reset on my Moto Z Force today to see if I can iron out a few bugs and feel better about waiting... so glad the backup to Google Drive makes *most* of the re-setup streamlined these days...

I've been waiting to see if T-Mobile does a promo. But it doesn't look like that's happening and I sure as hell don't expect much from Google so I guess I'm just going to have to either ride with my Pixel 2 or bite the bullet and get the 3 if I'm going to do it.

There's other phones out there that offer a hell of a lot more but just don't stand up in the camera department. I love my camera and I guess I'm willing to put up with some deficiencies in other areas to keep my camera.

Why I am single and will remain so.. I don't subscribe to the happy wife, happy life motto... I subscribe to the Happy me, happy life club.. :p :D

Typically, electronic devices, including smartphones, tend to see some initial discounts or promotions around their launch date or during major shopping events, such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or Amazon Prime Day. After the initial launch phase, prices may stabilize for some time until newer models are released.

Regarding your decision to buy now or wait, it is important to consider how urgently you need the phone and whether the current deals available are satisfactory to you. If you are in no rush, waiting a few months may result in more deals becoming available, but there is no guarantee that prices will drop significantly. On the other hand, if you need the phone urgently or are satisfied with the current deals, there may not be a significant advantage to waiting.

Ultimately, the decision to buy now or wait is up to you and your personal preferences.
