Bezel too smooth

The bezel on the regular model is too smooth for me. I wish someone would make a gecko strip type ring that could adhere to it and make it stickier so I could turn it with one finger. Most of the time my fingers are too dry to turn it, esp. now in winter.

Just something that's been bugging me for awhile. I assume the classic model with the knurled edge is easier to move but I really wanted 3G.

Agree 100%.

Yep, me too. I never use it because it is so hard to turn. I don't miss it though.

Note 4 with Gear S2 3G

I will fourth that proposal. The bezel needs texture.

Ironically, on Day 3 of ownership I accidentally scraped the S2 on a brick wall as I walked past. Thankfully it scraped the bezel, not the screen -- and it made the bezel easier to turn!

Not a recommended fix, mind you, but it did help!

I just found a s2 skin that goes around the Bezle

Thanks amochi013, I ordered one. I picked gloss black. Hopefully it won't look hideous and will actually help. I like the idea of the bezel particularly now that Samsung put the button back on the side of the watch where I can't get to it anymore (I'm left handed and wear the watch on the right hand so the button is always tucked under some winter clothing).

I've had mine since October, and it was a little stiff, but I've found that it is now really easy to turn. Might just need a little more break in time...

Tell me how gloss black works. I choose carbon fiber because it has some grip to it

I just got my eBay cover. It was hard to put on (IMO). I did about a "B+" job. I'm glad I got the gloss black because it's not very noticeable at quick glance where I had trouble putting it on. Now that it's on, I don't mind the look - it just gives a tiny bit of shininess to the bezel (I only covered the bezel, I did not use the rest of the cover). I'd say it helps slightly with grip. My finger still slips on it, but it is definitely easier to use than it was before. I will keep this on and see how it fares.
