So with the possible pending Iphone to verizon in January-February how many people will switch. I will personally have to see if it is a global phone or not. If it is then I will be buying one, only because I am sick of swapping batteries and always charging something.

So what about the rest of you.

Having an irreplaceable battery phone is a huge plus. Why would anyone want to switch from Android to Apple. :-O

1 posted in the wrong section 2 posted in the wrong forum period! There is no place in here that you can talk about the iphony . That's how wack it is

Definitely not switching. Apple is a marketing company, not a technology company. They make products that become popular through great marketing (so much so that iproducts become the cutting edge of style). I'd much rather have the freedom you get with Android than that frustrating, locked down iOS.

Also, this is in the wrong forum.

i just came the iphone! i didnt like the fact that att would not make any insurance on the iphone that only apple could, att just sold the phone and service but anyting maintence had to be done by apple lucky there was an apple store in the mall so maybe verizon can handle it better? but i dont see how the iphone will fare against the mighty android?

Probably not. That was likely an Apple deal, not an AT&T deal. You will likely still have to go to an Apple store to get your iphone serviced, as Apple will probably forbid Verizon from servicing them.

This kind of thing will eventually do Apple in.

The only thing that makes me happy about the iPhone coming to Verizon, is ATT will get destroyed. Then I wont have to see any more their horrible attempts to rip on Verizon in their commercials. They will no longer be able to talk smack about not using data + phone at same time and also their "map" commercials are pretty fail.

I would never get an iphone. Even jailbroken doesnt even get you close to the customizing you can do with android.

No insurance, pay for GPS, no good exchange active sync client like Touchdown. Staying Android here.
