Bigger battery same size

Lol at people being afraid of batteries.

The voltage difference isn't enough to damage anything.

And the people thinking that you cannot get more size because it isn't the oem don't understand anything about batteries, with them leaving it the nfc, they could easily have more room for the important stuff in a battery.

Fully charge the battery, place a multi meter on the leads of the bat, I'm sure you will find it is the said size.

Batteries are not expensive to produce, and they wouldn't gain anything by lying, esp when word gets around fast about this stuff online nowadays.

On my Sammy fascinate it had a stock battery of 1500 I got an anker that was rated at 1800, it actually measured at 1850, another funny thing was it lasted well longer than the stock, was same dimensions and two batteries, along with a wall charger were only 20 shipped, cheaper and better than oem,

OEM isn't always better, intact oem is often better as they improve designs that the oem overlooks.

yeah man when i said about "if it was any good, the OEMs would use it" i hadnt thought about the lack of NFC chip (i have no idea what size they are lol) soz ;)

I've used alternate batteries for years.. And I've not had one problem.... I don't use NFC much either soo... I actually got 2 from ebay that claim to be OEM with NFC. but after I looked at them close once I got them it looks like a Samsung bootleg.. Like the print isn't as crisp.. But hey they work.... I haven't had a chance to test the NFC on em.. I will and let u guys know

Yeah I mean if it doesn't work its not like a lot of money only like $7 so it was worth a try so as long as it doesn't do anything to my phone im fine trying it. Wonder if it will hold as many charges as the stock one.

Do you guys think I should fully charge it with the charger cradle it came with or just in the phone? Or it doesn't matter haha?

How did you test the capacity of the fascinate battery? I'm wondering because I'm pretty sure a multimeter won't give enough information to accurately measure the charge a battery can hold.

By using Google, you can find all sorts of conversations, by calculating my reading to the labeled voltage reading it came out to slightly larger than the stated size.

It was a while ago, over a year and can't remember the conversion I used, with enough digging you could figure out all sorts of stuff!

my instinct is also that a multimeter cant predict the capacity of a battery but im just a clever brain with very little education so its like 50/50 that im wrong :)
@Dizzo, dont think it really matters mate, id use the charger first AND WATCH IT INCASE IT BURSTS INTO FLAMES lol :p ko m8, i dont think it will matter but me, id try the charger 1st

what ever happened to battery boss?

Why did they stop posting?

It seemed to drain pretty quickly but that's fresh out without the complete drain and charge. It's in the charger now hopefully it doesn't drain that fast tomorrow morning. When I first got my s3 my battery went quick but then I charged it and it was pretty good so I guess we will see.

yeah my battery seemed to take a few charges to break in properly.
is Battery Boss like a superhero or somethin? :)

Give it a few full cycles of charge/discharge before reporting back. My OEM battery sucked the first few days.

Even if these cheap batteries don't last as long as the oem's they should last around 6-8 hours at best. With 3 batteries and a charger how could you go wrong?

First... the NFC is in the battery???

Second... I used third party, higher capacity same-size batteries in my Incredible and Rezound with no problems and some improvement. I would do it again... well, not at the expense of NFC. I use it.

What is this NFC that everybody is talking about obviously it's in the battery and does this battery have it Idk haha.

Not quite.

The nfc chip is in the phone, but the antenna is on the battery
