Then we agree, I think, lol. If Verizon would have avoided using the 29th or 30th for due dates, they would be there same every month. With those two dates, once a year, February, those of us with those due dates are going to have 1 to 2 days less to pay the same bill. Utility companies vary sometimes for meter reading, I don't have that issue unless there's a weather issue delaying meter reading that month, even then most time they estimate our average a lot of the times. Verizon don't have this issue, and all they had to do is avoid those two dates.I never said the cycle changed since someone already said the cycle date didn't change. What I was saying is the only way someone can have the same exact day each month for a due date like what you mentioned was before the change, their cycle start date is somewhere from the 7th to the 28th of the month. Otherwise, there will be 3 (4 for leap years) different due dates of the month for the year due to the number of days in the month. My XFinity/Comcast bills can be due the 1st, 2nd of the month for example. Pacific Gas & Electricity can be due from the 16th, 17th or the 18th depending on the month.
The only bill that was always due the same day from a utility type company was AT&T as that one is always due the 1st.
I'll survive, but companies should just avoid those two dates for this reason, not every month has the 29,30, and 31. So really there is three due dates that can screw a system up for paying bills.
