I got the update last night and am pleasantly surprised. FPS is working wonderfully. Loving my S10+ as my daily driver.

Same exact thing here. I had a bad WiFi connection, though. Tried twice then let it sit (planning to try once I got to a WiFi) but now it's gone without a trace and still on 4.1

Notification returns with a restart. Installed no problem. fPS actually better, but not perfect. That's OK. Shows software can improve it.

Got my update also last night (on VZW), i was surprised. Deleted all my existing fingerprints and reregistered. Seems quick, only time will tell.

Yeah I deleted mine and redid it. Seems to be ok now actually. Maybe it had to settle in a bit. Lol.

What I found that works best so far for me when recording prints is too not mash down when it says press a little harder. Press just hard enough to register. If you record a mashed print it is harder to duplicate when reading.

This is why I say they should add this to a future monthly security updates which gets burned into the ROM.

This way everyone gets it, and if you do a factory reset it will still be there.

I hope they don't keep it as an app update.

Are you saying it is more recent than the recent one last week?
Please post the version number
