Bionic Alarm Clock mode?

Hi guys,
Does anybody know if the Bionic has an alarm clock mode like the OG Droid has when in the dock?
I really like that feature and can't seem to get the Bionic to do it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated even if it ends up making me feel like a fool

OK, I see an application called "Desk Home" that seems like what I want to run, but it only shows up under "Settings" - "Applications". I don't actually see it in applications folder, so I don't know how to get it to activate. Anybody???

As soon as you dock it unless you got rid of the menu screen to choose which option it will show for Alarm Clock mode

Thanks, finally got it.
I think my dock must have a misaligned magnet or something. My phone only switches to dock mode about one out of three times now. Hopefully it is the dock and not the phone.

Is there any way to put it into "sleep mode" or "alarm mode" without the dock? I'm so used to using my BB as an alarm clock and I'd like to do the same with the Bionic. Can it be put to sleep, but turn on and alarm when set to?

Hi, no way to actually put it in to the bedside mode that happens when you place it into the dock yet. I am sure there will be an app for it shortly though. This does not prevent you from using it as an alarm clock though. Just set the alarm (Alarm&Timer) in the app drawer and you are good to go. The Bionic has a sweet alarm! You can set an mp3 as alarm and also select the volume to start soft and slowly get louder, eventually ending in loud beeping if you do not respond.

BTW- It seems that if I make sure the phone is in landscape mode (therefore not on the home screen) when I insert it into the dock, then it goes into the dock mode. If the screen is off or it is on the home screen (portrait mode) then it is hit or miss. Strange.

Try the app called Bedside... its similiar to BBs where you can set up a white list for only certain contacts to be able to call or message during chosen hours. Also has a cool looking alarm clock with a bunch of customizations.

Bionic Dock (Simulate Docking) is a free app that lets you choose between Bedside, Productivity, and Car modes. Works good.
