I will be receiving my new DROID Bionic tomorrow! I have just one question. I haven't been with Verizon in a VERRRRRY long time. The last phone I had with them was a LG Chocolate. When I was purchasing my plan and all that good jazz on the Verizon site I noticed VZ Navigator...$9.99. Ummm no thanks. I am coming from the Sprint network and a Nexus S 4G...I had Google Maps and Navigation. I am assuming this is still the case with Verizon and any/all Android phones. Why pay $10 more a month for VZ navigator when we have Gmaps and Navigation...or am I terribly mistaken and will not be able to use navigation for free????

you will be able to use Google Maps and Navigation. I use it all the time. Love it.

VZ navigator is for people who have extra money and don't know any better. Google maps and navigation ftw

Thanks guys. I rooted my Nexus with in an hour of owning it. I already have the files downloaded to root this Bionic. Now all I need is some CM7 love. Def. good to know I won't have to spend $10 buck on a nav. for this piece. I hope I like it coming from the Nexus S though. I've never really cared for the PexTile displays. We'll see...
