I'd like a higher capacity battery but not as big as the Thunderbolt's that makes it ugly and fat. Maybe one that makes the whole phone as thick as the hump?
Thanks. I've been around. I'm kinda quiet until I find something worthy of a post.
It is 8MP/AFI'm curious about what else it looks like is written after the "8MP"..... I can't make it out real clearly, but it almost looks to me like "1AF". Any idea what that refers to?!? I've never seen that before and when I tried to search on it, came up with some weird results so kind of confusing......
Ok so i either missed something or amazon removed both docks. I cant follow the links at all and an amazon search doesnt come back with anything. I really hope im just plain dumb and missed something.
I hope that is just a rendering. All that extra border around the screen makes me think it would be a long and wide unit especially if it is was 4.5".
But again Moto likes a strong build so we shall see. I just hope it will go in a pocket.
I also hope the trim is matte. I have had dash mounted GPS units with shiny trim that drove me crazy with sun reflections.
Still Waiting on the Fat Lady!
the border does look a little thick around the screen

Isn't that the most God -Awful looking thing? I'm hoping, like you said, since the Bionic appears to have a slight hump at the top of the phone, with an extended battery and cover, MAYBE it will not be too noticable?
Yeah whoever designed that battery wasn't too concerned with aesthetics at all. I was thinking the same thing about the hump. Since the battery cover looks to take up the whole back of the phone, maybe it's possible to make it even with the hump with an extended battery.
Or make it like the droid 3 where you can barely tell its extended battery.
How were they able to do that?
They replace the whole back cover and it only adds a couple millimeters to the thickness.
Watch Phonedog's review on YouTube, he holds them side by side and it is hard to tell which has the extended battery.
