Yea don't worry. Once the Atrix 2 is done pushing out their ICS OTA we're up in the queue next. Typically an OTA cycle is about 3 weeks so, we got another 2 to go.

New updated timeline posted today. Some phones eliminated from ICS upgrade but Bionic still listed as Q4.

I got my Bionic two days before release and still have the same one. Running .232 has made it a lot better and the fact the official ICS has been delayed does not really bother me. I mean, if your spouse promised you sex and then didn't deliver, would you want to trade up to a newer model? Probably not. My point is, there are worst things in life than not getting an OS update. Don't take it personally. If the OS isn't ready to be released, I'd much rather wait until it's polished before receiving it. I don't work for VZW or Moto so I have no idea what the reasons for delay are. And if you want to try and use this as means to get out of your contract.....well, good luck with that.

But seriously, I feel sorry for the people that have owned a Bionic since day one, never flashed ICS, and still struggle with data drops. I'm comfortable doing that myself but anyone that isn't comfortable doing so shouldn't have to do that in order to have a functional phone. You and I don't mind waiting, but I'm sure there's a large crowd (still on GB) that does, and I can't blame em.

I constantly have data drops on stock, and but since I did the Ics 232 leak I haven't had a single one. Only bad thing about it is battery life even with extended battery is worse than on stock GB but still gets me through the day with heavy use.

Battery life has significantly improved in the 24x builds. So once 246 goes OTA you'll likely see vastly improved battery life.

Yeah, I am much happier with the improved battery in the 24X builds, this was a major problem for me in the early ICS leaks. I still lose battery when charging in car dock and running Navigation. Lost 10% over 2hrs on extended battery today, although this is much better than the 50% I lost in same conditions on 232 (I was worried I wouldn't have enough juice to get home!)

Well, I went the 232 build, I liked it ok.
But, I flashed it back to 905 with high hopes of the OTA being out soon.
I am really tempted to go back to a higher build on ics, but I am thinking I should wait for the OTA.
What do you think?

I went with the 246 leak from the House of Bionic, and I have no issues. Battery life is as good if not better than on GB, the phone is very fast and responsive. No data issues.

I can't go back to GB now that I am bast the 232 leak, but wouldn't want to.

The House of Bionic install program also rooted my phone. It was easy to use and very fast.

I'm on 246 leak also now. Runs great. Wonder what it'l take to get on OTA path once they do release the OTA ICS.

From what I understand, if the OTA turns out to be 246, we will already be on the OTA update, and will not need to do anything.

If it turns out to be another build, we will be able to use the HOB app to move from 246 to what ever the OTA is, once they have that update on the site.

Barring anymore unforeseen circumstances or Moto throwing us more curveballs, we should see the build sometime around the week of the 22nd would be my guess. Maybe after, maybe before (though unlikely) but in that ballpark.
