I have a Gear. I love it. The one piece of advice I give everyone about using it is... remember it's a watch first. It's job is to give you glance-able information. It's not some super computer strapped to your wrist.

Might put off buying an android device watch for a bit till prices drop, slightly more looks to my taste and this last bit is dreaming, connects to my polar chest band (sorry but everything I run so far is polar compatible I prefer not change bands - polar is a hr monitor)

I picked up my GG about an hour or so ago. I'll mess with it tonight and go from there.

Just remember that if you are in the USA the GG is worthless for Exchange accounts. Samsung is intentionally blocking Exchange content from flowing through to the watch. You'll just have a $300 buzzer on your wrist constantly telling you to go look at your phone to see an important message....or spam....can't really tell either way.

Well from MOST apps any ways. Google Maps, for example, still isn't an option even via the UK update. Which is really stupid, given that turn-by-turn directions shown via notifications and via voice alerts from your wrist would be SOOOO much better (and safer) than having to glance over at your GPS while driving.

got an orange one yesterday.. so far loving it.. especially after the update.. BBM works along with other apps now although sometimes laggy and SMS doesn't work.. i posted it on another thread but i guess it's an older issue people are just over it now... Got an S4 for my mom so Rogers is giving it to anyone buying a samsung compatible phone for $50..
