Bixby button no longer functions

US, my Bixby button no longer functions after latest update on yesterday. I tried as suggested to turn off Bixby widget but button still does not function. Double click or otherwise. Why?

Are you on any carrier in particular? T-Mobile's version here and after the 'red tint' issue it's still working. On the latest update (the one that blocked Bixby button re-mapping), however, they changed the way the button responded from a tap to a QUICK tap (some people thought it was a double tap because the second tap happens quickly naturally that way). I just tested it on mine right now and it's still working with the quick tap method.
